Men’s Soccer Tied for Second in MASCAC Preseason Poll, Test 1 position

Framingham, Mass.- The Framingham State University men's soccer team has finished tied for second in the 2021 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Soccer Preseason Poll as voted upon by the eight MASCAC head coaches.
The Rams who won the 2019 MASCAC Regular Season and Tournament Championships return junior Jared Nardizzi (Framingham, Mass.) who has registered eight points scoring two goals and four assists starting in 37-of-38 games in two seasons with the Rams.
Salem State comes in atop the poll, the Vikings received five first place votes for 47 points. Tied for second with the Rams with 41 points is Bridgewater State. Sitting in a tie for fourth is Westfield State and Worcester State with 25 points. Tying for the sixth position with 16 points are Fitchburg State and Massachusetts Maritime and with the eighth spot in the 2021 preseason poll is MCLA.
The Rams open the 2021 season when they travel to Gordon on Wednesday, September 1st for a 7:00pm non-conference matchup.
